[She smiles down at her stitching, almost serene.]

Hmmm well you said you got something for me so I'm guessing it's something you picked up elsewhere, not something you made.

[He leans in a little closer as she works, one arm curling around between her and the couch, fingers toying with the hem of her top. It starts as an idle motion, but he quickly redirects it into.... the threat of a tickle.]

There's not many things you'd buy instead of making yourself... unless it's some sort of technology?

Mm... well, you're half right? But, um, still pretty far off.

[She bites her lip, swallowing back a giggle.]

Half right? I'll take it.

[Another long hum as he thinks, ducking his head to drop a light kiss on her shoulder and... it's maybe cheating a little bit but he reaches out to her with synchronicity, trying to get a hint from her that way.]

Hmmmmmm

or supplies to make something myself?

[All he'll feel is a soft, deep, warm layer of fondness for his troubles.]

Still no dice, sorry.

[The lips against her shoulder turn into a gentle nip and a playful little growl of frustration. Those fingers creep under her top and wiggle just a little. Don't make him do it.]

No dice.... a game?

[Alas, she cannot lie to him to spare his feelings.]

[That's it! His mercy only goes so far and his fingers are quick and clever skittering up her side and back down, even pinching her side lightly.]

I—o-oh! I, b-bought, ah-ahahaha!

[She squirms away, laughter overtaking her.]

I-I bought it! I, I did, a-and, and then, and then I, I added to, t-to it!

[He lets out a triumphant cheer, free hand tugging her needlework away before they end up stabbing themselves. It gets lightly tossed onto the coffee table and then he's pouncing on her, shoving her down on the couch to tickle her harder. The one bonus with the increase in beard is that he can dive in to press his face against her neck and then just rub fine hairs across the sensitive skin of her neck before she can escape.

And she's going to have to escape too. Or admit defeat.]

[She goes down with a yelp of alarm that quickly blooms into more peals of laughter. She squirms and giggles, helpless.

She finds the breath to gasp out.]

I-I c-complied! I, I gave you y-your hint! M-Mer-ha!-mercy...!

[He's laughing maniacally by the time she surrenders, grinning down at her but his fingers still as soon as she says mercy. Instead he merely settles over her, content to get comfortable on top of her now, leaning in before she can fully catch her breath for one sudden, searing kiss.]

Hmmm.... something to wear? [Finally murmured against her lips when he takes mercy on her poor lungs.]

Mm...

[She melts beneath him, laughter giving way to breathy, pleased sighs.]

...yeah. Something to wear.

[A pleased chuckle muffled against her mouth as he kisses her again, slower this time, more like his usual languid, probing kisses.]

For me or... [He pushes up onto his elbows to pointedly let his eyes slide down over her body, breath coming out in a low, rumbling purr.] or you?

Oh, um.

[She blinks up at him, a little taken aback.]

I, uh, didn’t realize there was something that you wanted to see me wear…?

There are a lot of things I'd like to see you wear, çiçeğim~

[One finger slides up to tug lightly at the collar of her top and the smile he gives her is absolutely wicked. But it is swiftly followed by a wink and another kiss, softer this time.]

You're beautiful, Detta. And you have an eye for color and design. There are so many things you'd be absolutely stunning in.

[She blushes, because no matter how long they’ve been together, each purposeful little touch and tease still sends a fresh thrill through her, all over again.]

Y… you should make a list. Of. Of…things. That, uh, y-you want to… see.

[This time the grin is a little more just... outright thrilled than teasing.]

You gonna dress up in something pretty and let me tear it off you like By did?

[Just in case she missed how hot that was... or the fact that Khalid was encouraging him.]

[If the flustered way she's reacting now is any indication, if she cottoned on back then she has since forgotten it in the wild turns that evening took. Or, at least, it hadn't seemed intentionally alluring on her end, so she had discounted it.]

If... if you like, we, uh, we... we could definitely do that, too, I-I'd just... I'd, um, I-I'd need to find something... f-flimsy enough...

[He smirks at her, ducking down to trail kisses over her neck, words slightly muffled against her skin.]

What...? Don't think I could tear this cute little top of yours off right now?

Um, e-embroidery actually strengthens fabric, sometimes? So, uh, Right... right now, you'd um...

[Her pulse jumps against his lips, and her voice turns breathier.]

You might, you might need to... c-cut through...

[And she knows he has one on him, and oh, this is skirting the edge of hypothetical in a big way.]

[And just like that the playful air stills, a momentary held breath, and Khalid moves swift and decisive. His knees come up to straddle her hips instead of just being flopped lazily atop her. One hand twists tight into the fabric of her top, the other coming up to join it with only the briefest hesitation. A sharp yank and the light material parts easily under the pressure. Fingers delve into the part in the fabric, one hand snaking down to cradle her breast in his hand as the other comes up to the collar, slicing through the delicate fabric flowers and embroidery quickly and efficiently with a blade too small to even have been seen. Never mind giving her any clue as to where on his person he'd retrieved it from.

There's a sharp frisson of something hotter, more primal that follows the moment, skating around the idea of violence but the physical reminder of it is there in the way tattered slivers of fabric spill around her. It's there in the fierce smile he gives her and the possessiveness in his kiss when he finally ducks down to capture her lips again.]

[Perhaps she should be dismayed at how quick he is to follow up on that faint suggestion. Perhaps she should mourn her pretty blouse, should track just where that knife might have come from, should be alarmed and uncertain at the sudden escalation.

She really, really isn't, though.

A heated sigh stutters out of her, and she arches up into his touch eagerly. This wasn't how she intended to keep his mind busy, certainly, but...

Well.

She's definitely not going to complain, that's for sure.]

[They've both completely lost the thread, the reason he'd started tickling her in the first place. Not that it matters, so far as he's concerned. They'll get to this whole... surprise thing later. Much later.

Especially when he is greeted with sight of her bare chest, no underthings beneath that flowy top that would have been so easy to simply push up even if he hadn't cut it away. She arches into him and he hisses out an appreciative breath before dropping to nip and lick and kiss his way down to her throat, further still until he finds her collarbone.

The entire time his fingers are toying with her nipples, rolling firmly between his fingers, brushes of his nails against the pebbling flesh. Teasing and playful and as soon as she begins to really respond to him he replaces the fingers of one hand with his mouth.]

I—oh...!

[She presses her hands to her mouth, briefly, before they slide over his shoulders and into his hair, clenching against his scalp.

He likes to hear her, she knows. She'll give him as much as he likes, right now.]
